We do not have any
advertisements or links to commercial advertising on
this website.
The links we do have on the External
Links page are personal recommendations to
sites that bushwalkers may find useful.
When we get a book order,
we send you an email when the book has been posted. Occasionally
the emails bounce as the Paypal provided email address is not current.
Please provide a
current address so we can tell you when to expect the book.
When we send a book to
print, we sometimes invite advance orders. We send an email
when
we get the order and a second email when the book has been
posted. Unless asked
to do so, we do not use send out emails to everyone when we publish a new book.
We do not use your email address for any other purpose and do not provide it to others.
We often go away on
extended walking trips. Walking guide books sales are small (read this page)
and it is not viable to pay someone to handle sales while we are away
so we do them on our return.
When we go away walking for more than a week, we
always provide notices on each book page
and each Paypal
button announcing the date your book should be posted. If you do not read
that
notice when ordering or decide you will buy a book from elsewhere, email us to
cancel the order and on our return we will refund
your purchase through Paypal.
We do not answer emails
while away walking. Its impractical to read and reply to multiple emails
a day when walking. In wilderness areas, there is normally no
mobile phone coverage.
Signed books - we do not
normally sign books. If you want a signed book then either add a note
onto your Paypal order or send an email direct to us at the same
time requesting it.
