Weather Conditions for the Cradle Mountain (Waldheim Valley)

Temperatures are rarely very warm even in mid-summer. The graph is for the valley, expect colder temperatures on the exposed moorlands.

January to March is the driest period. Even then there is significant rainfall.
Yearly rainfall is 2800 mm
(110 inches).

At best, it rains at least every second day even in summer. Most of the other days are cloudy as the small number of clear days shows.

Accuracy - Good, above records have been kept for 50 years at Waldheim. Expect colder weather on Cradle Plateau and the Windermere Plains.
